We spent a few days at the beach in North Carolina with the Lambert family before Joe and Emily's wedding. Olivia loved the beach!

She kept wanting to go out deeper and deeper. Olivia definitely doesn't have any fear.
We hung out at the park to celebrate Olivia's first 4th of July.
It is a really big park and we thought Olivia would like to play on the grass with everyone else or swing in the hammocks, but she headed straight to the railing along the river and didn't want to leave. She had such a fun time!
Our sweet Olivia has grown so much these past 12 months.
What a blessing she has been in our lives!

Happy Birthday Olivia!
I can't believe that our little girl is one. Time has gone by too quickly. I am so glad that I have been able to be at home with her and watch her grow up so much this past year
We decorated the house for Olivia when she woke up-she really loved playing with the streamers.
We really wanted to plan a very fun day for Olivia. If she wasn't sleeping we are all having fun together. We started the morning by playing at the new park in front of our apartment.
Next we went to the zoo at Central Park. She loved the penguin exhibit. Here she is walking around the jungle exhibit with dad.
We knew her birthday wouldn't be complete if she didn't have a chance to play with some dogs.
We got Olivia a life-size Cocker Spaniel for her birthday. She gets really excited while playing with the dog- she really seems to like it. For some reason she enjoys picking the dog up over her head and slamming it on the ground-she's very strong.

May was such a great month, Olivia was able to spend so much time with family. At the begining of the month we went out to Long Beach for Belle's baptism and baby Isaac's blessing. All of her cousins were there and she had such a fun time trying to keep up.
On the way back home we stopped by Salt Lake to visit all the family in Utah. She really seemed to have a fun time with her cousin Ella.
Aunt Liz came back to New York with us and stayed for two weeks. Olivia loved every second Liz was here. Olivia played a special game with Liz. Olivia loved to run toward Liz and then turn away as soon as she reached her...Olivia thought this was pretty hilarious.
While Liz was here Joe drove up from DC. He was so sweet to Olivia and she enjoyed playing with him.
A few days later grandmother came to visit and Olivia really enjoyed having her here. Grandmother is Olivia's most frequent visitor and Olivia always looks around the house for grandmother after she leaves, she is so sad to see her go.
